Willie Lee Elmore

Willie Lee Elmore, Age 87, passed away on Mon, March 14th, 2022. Willie was born on July 5th, 1934 in Glasgow, KY. Willie was a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather, a husband and a wonderful friend to many. He was always a bright light of energy and fun wherever he went. He possessed the power to make people smile and always enriched the lives of the people around him. Mr. Elmore devoted his life to our country. He was a Mechanic 2 in the United States Air Force. He proudly layed his life on the line during his service in the Korean War while fighting for our freedom. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Medal for Good Conduct during his service. As a proud patriot he lived his life with the pride that comes with being a soldier and always had the best interest of our country in his heart. As an avid golfer and a master of the sport, Willie brought so many together through his passion. He created countless memories and bonds that will last the test of time. Willie was a great man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His impact has left a legacy that will live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. Willie is survived by his wife, Charito Elmore, his sister, Gladys, his daughter, Deborah Elmore and his two sons, David and Jimmie Elmore and all of their respective families. We thank you for celebrating the legacy that Willie has left behind. We all share memories and loving thoughts that will allow Willie to live on forever in our hearts.
